Skilled Nursing Services at Kith Haven are designed for residents who are in need of 24-hour care and rehabilitation services to assist them in rehabbing after an acute short-term illness. The skilled level of care provides the regular services of a registered nurse for treatments and procedure and also services provided by specially trained professionals, such as physical and occupational therapists. For some seniors even with rehabilitation services, going home or moving to a lesser level of care is not an option. Kith Haven also offers Intermediate Care services, which are required to maintain individuals activities of daily living by providing personal care, supervision, therapies and a safe environment. Social Services Kith Haven has two full time bachelor degree Social Workers and one Social Service designee. The primary role of the Social Service staff is the successful placement of the resident in the facility, the psychoses adaptation of the resident and his/her family, and appropriate discharge planning that is in conjunction with the resident's plan of care. Our staff primarily works Monday through Friday and is available to answer any questions residents or family members may have. |
